Endodontics, from the Greek endo (inside) and odon (tooth), it is a discipline of dentistry and deals with the tooth pulp and the tissues surrounding the root of a tooth.

Specialist in Endodontics
Philip has been working as a specialist in Southgate since 1997.
He is a consultant and honorary senior lecturer at King's College London. He has contributed to several endodontic textbooks.
He started a referral base in Berkhamsted in 2009. -
Navid Saberi
Navid Saberi BDS, MSc, MClinDent, PgCert, MFDSRCSEd, MEndoRCSEd, FHEA
Specialist in Endodontics

Navid graduated from the University of Manchester and worked in the salaried, hospital and general practice in Scotland until 2012. He completed his first Masters degree in Endodontics at the University of Glasgow and has limited his practice to endodontics since.
Navid completed his specialist training in Endodontics at King’s College and was subsequently admitted to the General Dental Council’s Specialist Register in Endodontics.
Navid has co-authored a few endodontic journal articles and two endodontic book chapters.
When not partaking in endodontic related activities, you can find Navid flying over the skies of Scotland.

What is root canal treatment?
Root canal treatment is carried out when the pulp (soft tissue inside a tooth) is either inflamed or dead. The pulp is a tissue made up of nerves, connective tissue and blood vessels. -
